Arguably one of the highest profile television music specials ever produced, Vh1 Divas brings together music’s most powerful women and greatest performers live on one stage. The very first VH1 Divas special took place just over ten years ago and it became one of the most anticipated music and pop culture events of the entertainment year.
VH1 Divas also reinvents itself this year with a crop of new, young superstars, including Adele, Kelly Clarkson, Miley Cyrus, and Leona Lewis. While relatively new to the entertainment scene, these women are poised to join the ranks of the most legendary women and voices of our times. Past Divas have included Aretha Franklin, Mariah Carey, Celine Dion, Shania Twain, Gloria Estefan, Carole King, Tina Turner, Faith Hill, Cher, Patti LaBelle, Diana Ross, Shakira, Mary J Blige, Whitney Houston, Beyonce, and Elton John.
