The 27th Annual 2010 MTV Video Music Awards are getting hotter by the minute as MTV readies to celebrate their biggest entertainment and star studded showcase of the year from the Nokia Theatre in the heart of Los, Angeles California.
Back on the shiny west coast from last year's big Apple, MTV are again bringing down the house with a huge line-up of stars, celebrity presenters and of course of the wall antics that are always viral guarenteed to make headlines.
Lady Gaga leads the way with 13 VMA nods while Eminem has risen from the dead to reclaim his former throne with 8 nods. This year is proving mighty interesting for the number of collaborations hungry for our famous moonman - like Katy Perry and Snoop Dogg's - California Gurls, B.O.B. and Hayley Williams - Airplanes and Lady Gaga and Beyonce's Telephone and Video Phone.
Controversy aside, Kanye West will be performing at this year's VMA's as an official guest onstage (hrrumf) plus Justin Bieber, who is only nominated for one VMA, will take the stage amid dizzying decibels of screaming teenagers trying to break down the barricades.
Comic woman Chelsea Handler will officially hold the torch following in the comic hero footsteps of Russell Brand, Jimmy Fallon, Chris Rock, Jack Black, Arsenio Hall, and Eddie Murphy.
