Usher has just released his latest single and video "Climax" containing some pretty sexual and steamy scenes yet the "DJ Got Us Fallin' In Love" singer insists it's not about sex.

Usher - Climax

Clearly personal and emotionally dark, Usher shows us the pain we feel inside when enough is enough, when it's over. In a recent interview, Usher explained that "Climax" was the realization that all love and life experiences reach climaxes that sometimes require us to walk away eventhough it's deadly painful inside.

“It’s odd that people view ‘Climax’ as a sexual song. It’s not. It’s not even about sex. It’s really about the ultimate experience or finale of an experience of love and life.”

The video depicts the darker side of human nature as Usher drives up to his girlfriend/ex-girlfriends house to discover another vehicle, another man, another side of his love. In the realization of fury and anger, images distort Usher's reality with thoughts of taking his gun and shooting the intruder. Thoughts of running away with the girl. Thoughts of driving off to never be seen.

Some reviews insist the video is reality but we think it depicts the emotional imagery that longs for revenge and pain relief inside when we lose what we love the most.

Usher's voice is stunning singing in his upper vocal range sending chills and tingles to our spine while leaving a heavy weight in our hearts. He is a pro artist forgoing fancy dancing and special effects because what is more power than love ...except that of love that is lost.

So far, no news on Usher's new album that is expected to drop in 2012.
