Rihanna commented that the video was the the most fun and hardest at the same time because she was really afraid to step into her character. The video is meant to give people hope for love and express how love really is the sweetest drug eventhough it can turn bad through poor decisions.
The song "We Found Love" was produced by Calvin Harris who toured with RiRi on an earlier leg of her Loud outing earlier this summer.
The track is the lead single from her highly anticipated November 21 release, Talk That Talk, the follow-up to 2010's Loud.
