With enough previews and teasers to send us over the edge, finally we can decide on Rihanna's latest adventure - the verdict? We're not sure.
For die-hard RiRi fans, they will love it , embrace it and scream it in the streets. For others, the more untypical sound of the song along with seemingly disconnected dance scenes may not make the cut.
The video is quite stunning and Rihanna looks terrific in her reptilian topless bra however the word 'relevance' seems to come to mind. Also, her appearance as an Indian -like God with unending arms seems to be borrowed from her official video made for Princess China and the Coldplay tour. This is definitely a dance video clearly pounded in visual, tribal beat and electro-screech however Rihanna's dance moves are ..a bit lacklustre? Despite this, Rihanna's seductive looks and mirrored transformations almost certainly will have a hypnotic effect.
All in all, first impressions say I like the theme and the visuals however I have recently gotten use to Rihanna the storyteller with such videos as We Found Love and You Da One - I am craving more story. On the otherhand, this IS a dance video hell bent to pop the lid off clubs - Rihanna's jumbo presence on a huge club screen will certainly move the crowd.
