A brand new recording from Michael Jackson called Michael will hit the stores on December 14th. Termed the Cascio tracks, there appears to be some speculation over the authenticity and participation of other Jackson members according to Rolling Stone.

Launched on michaeljackson.com the website deems the upcoming record as "newly completed recordings from Michael Jackson entitled MICHAEL will be released in December 2010 by Epic Records in conjunction with the Estate of Michael Jackson." Plus there will be a world premiere on Monday November 8th of a never before heard single called "Breaking News."

The artwork for the album was completed by painter Kadir Nelson in 2009. In the oil painting, Kadir – who is known for story telling through his art – takes us on a journey through some key moments and important people in Michael Jackson’s life.

Before the ill-fated day of Jackson's Death, the King of Pop had been working on a follow-up to his 2001 Invincible album with the likes of Lenny Kravitz, Akon, Will.I.Am, Ne-Yo and others.
