He's been an elf, a race car driver, an anchorman, and George 'Dubya' Bush. He's been an evil fashion designer, a figure skater, a corrupt politician, an overgrown frat boy, and a guy who crashes funerals to meet girls. And through all those roles, Will Ferrell has been one thing: a comedic genius.

That's why this year at the MTV Movie Awards, Will will be honoured with the first EVER Comedic Genius Award. It's an accolade he has more than earned over years of making us LOL! The comedian got his start on 'SNL', graduated to hilarious big-screen roles, and created the hilarious Funny Or Die website to boot. And after years of him giving us riotous laughter and quotable lines, isn't it time we gave him something back?

On April 14th, the MTV Movie Awards with host Rebel Wilson will celebrate just what comedy is all about.

More about host Rebel Willson:

American audiences first became acquainted with the Australian actress, thanks to her breakout role as the interloping sister of Kristen Wiig's roommate in the 2011 comedy "Bridesmaids." She's since gone on to collect a number of big-screen credits including "Bachelorette," "What to Expect When You're Expecting" and, most recently, "Pitch Perfect," in which she played college a cappella singer Fat Amy.

Wilson, however, is no noob to the MTV awards circuit. She memorably appeared at this year's Video Music Awards, clad in a bikini T-shirt and snacking on potato chips, to present the Best Female Video nominees alongside Brit band The Wanted.
