What does it take to create a song in one day? Generally, songs and albums we hear take months and sometimes years to materialize (yes I’m thinking of Chinese Democracy here). But, for the average listener this doesn’t really help us understand the whole process of making music – what does it take, how many tracks, what is the inspiration etc.

The National Public Radio Orgnaization in America have been promoting a feature called Project Sound which challenges artists to make a song in 2 days. They recently invited well know electro-dance phenomenon Moby into their studios to see what he could do. He arrived with fellow singer songwriter Kelli Scarr who is featured on his latest album ‘Wait For Me.’ In just ONE DAY they came away with a brand new fully completed song called ‘Gone to Sleep’.
