Brave and bold, Cyrus takes another step toward adulthood after first being criticized last year for raunchy pole dancing at the Nickolodeon Teen Kid’s Awards.
‘Can’t Be Tamed’ features Miley as an extinct species dressed or undressed (depends how you see it) in an exotic feather ridden corset and body suit complete with wings and all.
Her look says it all – in fact it says many things like – don’t mess with me, I have my freedom, I do what I want – where I want.
Funny enough – there is a huge resemblance to a Britney Spears style – Womanizer comes to mind – as if Miley is testing the waters before she fully reveals herself.
Cyrus denies that her video has anything to do with pushing the boundary of age inappropriateness stating, "The video isn't about being sexy or about who can wear less clothes," she told eonline.com. "I don't want to be in a cage. I want to be free and do what I love."
‘Can’t be Tamed’ the LP drops June 22 while the single will be available for digital distribution May 22nd.
Call me coy – but I think Ms. Cyrus is a lot smarter than Entertainment Weekly sputters – given all the years in the entertainment business, especially with her dad and her acting career with Disney – I think she knows exactly just how much to push critics in order to grow and eventually express exactly what she wants . For this – bravo.,br>
