Has Mike the Situation met a situation he can't handle? The buzz on Hollywood Boulevard is that the Jersey Shore drama man has entered rehab for substance abuse and burnout.

TMZ broke a story sayings "multiple sources" say MTV star's "hard-partying ways were worse than ever during the taping of the most recent season of Jersey Shore and so he recently checked into rehab for substance abuse."

However, according Sorrentino's main rep he is not in rehab, just taking some much needed rest and recuperation after his extensive production and appearance schedule with Season 5 of Jersey Shore.

TMZ goes further to say that in an episode on Season 5, Mike's unusual behavior when the gang goes camping is evident that somethings up.

"Sitch can be seen acting jittery, sweating profusely and just plain acting bizarre."
