Smartly, the King of Pop set up a Michael Jackson Family Trust in his heyday around 1995 before his kids were even born but by 2002 he had signed 40% of it over to his mother, 40% to his kids and 20% to charity.
The kids certainly will have a provided allowance until they are 21 and at this time Katherine Jackson will receive her amount up front for continued support. But that's where the hitch occurs.
The kids will then have to wait until they are 30 to get access to a third of their trust fund, 35 for half, and will finally have full access at 40 years old.
So what will they do in the spotlight of the greatest entertainer on the planet who did nothing but work his entire childhood only to try and recreate it in his later years at Neverland? Likely it's a great idea the children won't have access to it until such a later time.
What do you think?
