Linkin Park's Joe Hahn also directed the video clip, which includes a mix of gameplay footage and live-action footage of actors playing as soldiers. The full trailer goes live Aug. 1 at medalofhonor.com/linkinpark. In the meantime, watch a sneak peek gameplay trailer below.
The "Medal of Honor" game, meanwhile, hits shelves Oct. 12, from Electronic Arts. EA's worldwide executive of music and music marketing, Steve Schnur, says the partnership is the beginning of an expanded relationship between the game publisher and the band. Linkin Park's music has appeared in other EA games such as the Madden football franchise, and the band earlier this year put out its own mobile game called Linkin Park 8-bit Rebellion.
