Yesterday some of music’s most current groundbreakers gathered together at the Nokia Theatre in L.A for the Grammy Nominations Concert which revealed a star-studded nominations line-up for the Grammy Awards which is to Be held on 12 Feb 2012.

Kanye West, Adele, Bruno Mars, Katy Perry, Nicki Minaj, Rihanna and Lady Gaga racked in nominations for major music categories with Adele and Bruno in a few competitive ties.

The Someone Like You hitmaker and the guy who just wants to lay in his bed will compete against each other for the grammy title of record, album and song of the year.

Kanye West, to no surprise takes full lead of this Grammy group with seven nominations for his song All of the Lights.

At a close second the Foo Fighters jumped in with six nominations, to include one for Album of the Year for Wasting Light. Also up for top album, alongside Adele and Mars is Lady Gaga for Born This Way and Rihanna for Loud.

The night was married with performances by Lady Gaga and Usher and was presented by rapper LL Cool J.
