Justin Bieber will hit the big screen in a real acting role in the not too distant future.

Talking to popular Z100 New York Radio Beiber confirmed that he had been called by Mark Wahlberg(Contraband, The Fighter, The Italian Job) to act in a brand new movie. The movie will be about basketball featuring both Bieber and Wahlberg who play hustlers on the street.

The timeline hasn't been set yet as Beiber says the script keeps going back and forth to get it better.

Host Elvis Duran asked Bieber if he ever thought he wanted to be an actor one day.

Bieber replied:

"I wanna do movies, it's not something that people are just like you should do movies, it's like something that I wanted to do and that I want to do, "Even when I was younger I was in plays and stuff."

Justin Bieber just released her first brand new single "Boyfriend" which has mixed reviews given the direction Justin has taken with his new music. It's not pop, it's not hip hop, there's a little bit of R&B but definitely this young man has soul...only time will tell whether fans accept this new move.
