Justin Bieber hopes his newest album "Believe" will generate a new following of devoted fans due to its unexpected sound and collaborations including the country/pop crossover princess Taylor Swift.

Bieber revealed on British radio station, Capital FM, that Taylor Swift and himself have written and recorded a song featuring on "Believe." The sound admittedly has a little country vibe however Bieber believes the range of different music on this album will make it a success.

"It's crazy, I mean I even wrote a song with Taylor Swift, so the whole album ranges differently.

"With my music, it doesn't only stay in a box. It's so out there. Everything is so different and that's why I'm so happy with this album," said the pop star.

So far, response to Bieber's first single - 'Boyfriend'- has been phenomenal sending it to iTunes No. 1 shortly after it's release.

"The reaction's been great (to 'Boyfriend'); not only have I got good reactions from my fans, but great reactions from people who, you know, (might not usually listen to my music). I've gotten messages like 'You know, I never would have listened to Justin and now I love this song,' " he said to MTV News. "So, it's really great feedback."

Prior to Bieber's admission, fans could only speculate on the country pop collabo with an earlier tweet from producer Kuk Harrell who posted “Wow!! Got to see @justinbieber & @taylorswift13 write a song together last night!! SMASH!!!! SMASH!!! SMASH!!! Let’s do it again Yall!!!”

If you are not a Belieber, do you think you could be?

Take a look at a surprise visit to Taylor Swift's concert around the same time they wrote their song together last August. Justin and Taylor are singing "Baby."
