MTV News | Jack White's Second Single - Sixteen Saltines - White Stripes Revisited?

Jack White has released his 2nd studio single "Sixteen Saltines" from his solo album Blunderbuss. The single sounds reminiscent of early Jack White guitar on tour with White Stripes and his possie Meg. It's raw guitar rock that seems almost out of place in our day and age of electro-music collaborations. There's no guest singer, no rappin' just plain Jack. Going out on a limb, it also reminds me of Led Zepplin with his double track high voice vocals characteristic of Robert Plant.

Blunderbuss is Jack's debut solo album dropping on April 24th vi Third Man Records and Columbia. Jack's first single was "Love Interrupted." The tracklisting for Blunderbuss can be viewed below.
