The beautiful Mediterranean island of Malta played host to international superstars will.i.am, Nelly Furtado, Flo Rida and Eva Simmons as they brought Floriana’s historic Il-Fosos Square to life for the Isle of MTV Malta Special 2012. For the sixth consecutive year, music fans came out in their tens of thousands to be part of the biggest event on Malta’s music calendar, and this year’s show didn’t disappoint.

Eva Simons got the party started with her unique blend of high energy dance-pop, showing the crowds exactly why she’s one of the most talked about new names in music.

As the sun began to set, Canadian superstar Nelly Furtado took to the stage, wowing the screaming fans with a phenomenal performance. Her incredible voice, energetic tracks, old favourites and new hits got the crowd jumping and in full party mode!

Flo Rida sang in to a bling-encrusted, winged microphone and took off in to the crowd, handing out roses to the ladies during ‘Wild Ones’ followed by hit singles ‘Good Feeling’ and ‘Whistle’. Having performed in Malta back in 2009 with Black Eyed Peas, will.i.am returned to the Isle of MTV stage. Opening with smash hit ‘T.H.E (Hardest Ever)’ followed by the number 1 hit ‘This is Love’ in which Eva Simons returned to the stage to perform!
