The 2011 Grammy Awards kicked off last night from sunny L.A. to celebrate the best, brightest and most talented entertainers in almost every category possible. This award show to the monster of all monsters when it comes to categories citing more than 150 categories!! The Grammy Award show that is held every year highlights the top A-list performers and the awards surrounding the most popular categories.

In short, Lady Gaga won but didn't receive unanimous bragging rights with only 3 awards. Justin Bieber walked away empty handed losing out on the Best New Artist to Esperanza Spalding who nobody has even heard of - hence new! Bruno Mars won Best Male Artist continuing his climb to global superstar. Lady Antebellum walked away with three, Eminem still rules rap, Muse kicks as alternative's best and Arcade Fire from MTV's Push Series won Album of the Year - OMG!
