Lady Gaga’s footwear fashion is without a doubt unique, outstanding and iconic to say at the least. So much so that two Gaga shoe silhouette's made up of can food have been “canstrunted” to feed the hungry.
Two huge can Gaga shoes, made up of tuna fish, corn niblets, can pork & bean, tomato soup and spam have been put together by artists, Arup in silver and Khon Pederson Fox in colour.
The silhouettes were created for the ‘Canstruction’ charity that holds annual design and build competitions to construct giant sized, structures made entirely out of canned food. In each city after the structures are built and the winners declared the creations go on view to the general public as giant art exhibits. At the close of the competitions all of the food used in the structures is donated to the local food banks for distribution to community emergency feeding programs.
Gaga is all about helping the good causes these days so it’s great to see her crazy footwear fashion being put to good use.
