Now, it's OFFICIAL. First, a prominent feature in the "Yoü and I" music video. Then, an all-night appearance at the 2011 VMAs. And now, Lady Gaga's dude alter ego Jo Calderone has been immortalized by the white-hot flashbulbs of legendary rock and roll photographer Terry Richardson. This makes Jo, we think, a bit of his own bona fide seperate entity, breathing new and individual light to what had seemed at first a fleeting character (most likely Gaga's aim all along, but we aren't mind readers).

Jo's style is simple—white tees, black slacks, Elvis-esque pompadour—but that's what makes him the perfect subject for a Terry Richardson shoot. The photos are classically Terry—beautiful, clean, raw, and REAL.

Peep the rest of the photos AND last night's live performance of "Yoü and I" at the 2011 VMAs after the jump!
