MTV News | What Celeb Fashion Trends May We See More of In 2012???

We’ve seen some interesting looks this year and quite a few transitions. Our fellow Shorean...'The Situation' went from the tank top boy to a suited booted young man, we saw Beyonce go short and retro in her countdown video, Gaga with some interesting head gear amongst other signature trends she’s set this year and a string of other new looks from our favourite stars. But how many of these 2011 trends should be carried on into the next year????

Here’s what we think:

Fresh Face: Sammi should go for more of a natural look. I think she should ditch the extreme tan, heavy eye make-up and super dark hair because clearly she’s got it going on without any of that. I guess she should stick to just the G and the L and ditch the T.


Bikini Babe: We should see the feisty JWow in a bikini more often. With her new ‘Perfect Tan Bikini’ line, it makes sense for her to flaunt her samples on the show too and why not…clearly she’s looking hot in it!

Sleek & Straight:We’ve seen Talyor Swift wearing her beautiful curly locks very often this year but it was refreshing to see her with sleek straight hair with a cute bang this month. This is definitely a look Taylor should bring into the new year. It’s young, fresh and very high fashion.


Suited and Booted: We're used to seeing the Situation on Jersey Shore with tank tops, casual jeans, baseball hats and normal street style but having sealed a deal to endorse a tuxedo line this year he suited and booted up with real class. A great look we'd like to see more of in 2012.

Short & Fun: Beyonce's retro hair style in her Countdown video was super cute and transitional in comparison to the funky big hair she usually has. This short look would be perfect for the new yummy mummy in 2012!

Men In Pink: Okay so we've seen Diddy in a white suit, Kanye in a red suite and most other stars in black and grey suits this year but one very darring Mark Ronson took it a step further and wore a pink suit to the Versace for H&M Fashion event. We want to see more colour from our men on the red carpet next year.

Meltalic: Gaga has without a doubt been seen in some interesting outfits this year. She's continuously mixing this up and changing her characters through her style and actions. She's probably got a whole line up of new looks for the new year but I think we're going to see alot more metal from Gaga.
