On March 18th, Lovato released a kind YouTube "Thank You" note to fans concerning the huge hit "Give Your Heart A Break."
At 19 years old, Lovato says she doesn't consider herself old yet she does feel like she has lived through more emotion that some people twice her age. She quotes these "emotions" as the reason why she writes about love so much and just what she writes about.
She clears the air when it comes to "Give Your Heart A Break" indicating it as a song about faith and NOT a broken heart. The kind of faith that makes you fight for the one you love, helps you to live in the moment and believes you are worth falling for.
Lovato goes on to acknowledge all her fans who use the song to get through tough spots in life. For her, this is the greatest gift music can give.
Demi Lovato with MTV recently aired a one hour documentary called Stay Strong. It follows her public recovery from eating disorders and mental stress.
