The track follows in the footsteps of their epically popular "Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall" and curiously seems to be a reflection of it in another shade referring to the track itself in "Paradise's" lyrics.
Martin has high expectations for the forthcoming album indicating they have "thrown everything" into Mylo Xyloto.
"I always feel like each record is our last, but at the moment I'm in the stage where I really mean it. I just can't imagine how we would do another one, because we've thrown everything."
Plus they have an unlikely guest appearance, Rihanna, who Chris Martin revealed yesterday provided vocals for "Princess of China."
Mylo Xyloto is produced by Markus Dravs, Daniel Green and Rik Simpson, with (as a press release from the band's publicist puts it) "enoxification and additional composition" from Brian Eno. The album will hit stores in the U.S. on October 24.
