Bruno Mars is definitely making some changes with his debut single and video for "Locked Out Of Heaven."

The Doo-Wop hipster has gone late 70's early 80's Michael Jackson on us with a collage of early day MTV TV grainy signals in the club that wander between R&B, psychodelia and punk pop. It's an image and scene that works oh so very well with Mars who doesn't seem to be limited at all to his previous work. We feel the pull of The Police, the style of early MJ, the flashing images of Madonna and the glam of Cher. It's definitely nostalgia for the new milennia.

Will Mars' newest LP "Orthodox Jukebox" do nearly as well as Bruno's first commercially successful LP Doo-Wops and Hooligans that set a record with digital singles 'Just the Way You Are' and 'Grenade'(More Than 10 million copies each)?

What do you think?
