The year's most anticipated baby arrival is finally here with Blue Ivy. Beyonce Knowles and Jay-Z(Shawn Carter) gave birth to a beautiful healthy baby girl on Saturday (January 7th) in New York at Lenox Hill Hospital, according to E! News.

The sex of the baby was only rumoured to be a girl from former Destiny's Child bandmate Kelly Rowland who previously hinted: "I have no idea what I'm going to buy Beyoncé at the baby shower because Jay is going to buy that little girl every single thing possible."

Beyonce surprised the world in the classiest manner possible at the MTV VMA Awards where she rubbed her belly indicating her pregnancy after singing Love On Top (see it here again!).

Obviously, fans are super excited for the new addition to one if not the world's top power couple (okay Angelina and Brad are also up there) in the music/celebrity business. Super private, super famous and super hardworking, one can only imagine what kind of kid will result from the upbringing of Beyonce and Jay z. Hints already suggest that the kid will likely be running New York around age 13 or 14.
