The hope is that this one single will move Perry into the all-time No. 1 spot for No. 1 singles on an album. Currently, she is tied with Michael Jackson.
Several critics offer that "Part Of Me" is a husband/ex bashing song about former hubby Russell Brand given the specific lyrics that seems to fit so nicely.
