Live from the Nokia Theatre L.A on 28th August, for the second time in a row, the most ground breaking music videos from today’s most popular artists will be honoured and celebrated in style.
“We are thrilled to return to Los Angeles where the energy of the city will help power the creative spirit of the 28th annual VMAs,” said Stephen Friedman, President of MTV. “The city is the perfect backdrop for all the musical moments, mayhem and magic that make the VMA’s such a notorious celebration.”
The 2010 VMA’s showcased an array of talent such as Lady Gaga, Taylor Swift, Eminem with Rihanna, Justin Bieber and surprise newcomer B.o.B with Hayley Williams. The show became the pinnacle of headline news world-wide with Kanye West’s "Runaway" red-dressed musical return to greatness plus Lady Gaga’s unforgettable and slightly disturbing meat dress.
Clearly L.A seems to be the place for talent, unexpected drama and experimentation with non-veg fashion. Who will steal the VMA’s this year? Will newby MTV Push Artist Jessie J find herself on the podium? Will Gaga’s Born This Way continue her reign? Where does Britney fit into this buffet?
