Jason Derulo promised to ‘steam up’ the MTV EMA red carpet pre-show, and we are happy to confirm that he has delivered on his promise. The swoon-worthy singer tore up the stage outside Belfast City Hall with a high-energy medley of ‘It Girl’ and ‘In My Head’ that heated up the crowd despite the chilly weather.

The block closed off for J.D.’s pumped-up set, which will be followed by a performance by Northern Ireland’s own Snow Patrol.

And speaking of hotness, Best Alternative winners Thirty Seconds to Mars expressed their gratitude for fans’ support in an interview with Tim Kash. EMA regulars Jared Leto, Shannon Leto and Tomo Miličević have quite a passionate (uh, understatement!) international fan base in the Echelon, and it’s nice to know they appreciate the listeners who love them!
