The 2010 MTV Video Music Awards are almost here and for Europeans that means finding all the news and buzz around this amazing event. Staged in Los Angeles this year, the VMA's are not being shown live due to the time difference (would be 0300CET) between Pacific and Central European time.
But DON'T WORRY!
MTV European (mtv.tv) will have all the live, watchable action right here on Monday morning for music and entertainment fans alike.
This year promises to be absolutely huge with the return of Eminem who will be opening the VMA's this year with no less than 8 nominations. Lady Gaga has been queen all year and the VMA's are no different with a total 13 nominations going her way. Perhaps, Best New Artist is one of our hottest categories with the likes of Ke$ha and Justin Bieber (are you a Bielieber?). No doubt, new talent - young and old will rock the stage with a few surprises of their own - expect Linkin Park, Kanye West (if they let him in the building), new rapper B.o.B and Nicki Minaj, Usher, Drake, Florence and the Machine, Travis McCoy, Jason Derullo and house band DeadMau5 - to name a few.
Chelsea Handler will take the reigns this year with a style that will either please or squeeze European fans - we will have to see!
Until then, we have one more treat for Red Carpet Fans - over the weekend - MTV will be constructed the coveted White Carpet this year for all the fashion sizzle that will walk through the Nokia Center's doors.
