Despite her love for acting her first passion was always music, and she sang with bands such as Monkey Business, Pam’s Band, Durul Gence and Friends, and Panik Atak throughout her teens.

In 1998 she starred in the musical production ‘Atlari da Vururlar’ and then moved to Istanbul to pursue her musical career. After performing as a back vocalist with Teoman, a famous Turkish rock artist, for nearly three years, Pamela released her debut album "Eger Dinlersen" (If You’ll Listen) in July 2003. The first single "Ayrilamayiz Biz" (We Can’t Break Up) became a sudden hit and she began touring Turkey, performing live in all the major cities.

Never quitting acting, she appeared in various TV series and short films over the years. "Mucizeler Komedisi" (Comedy of Miracles) is her latest musical show which started in December 2004 in Istanbul, and sees Pamela starring with a cast of very experienced actors and singers in one of the biggest productions to date in Turkey.

"Sehir Rehberi" (City Guide) is Pamela’s latest album which was released in November 2004. The album topped the Turkish charts in December and the first single from the album, "Istanbul", quickly bacame a huge Turkish hit, as well as featuring on our World Chart Expres show and gaining popularity throughout Europe.

Pamela is one of Turkey’s new style icons with her unusual hairstyle, clothes, and incredible stage performances, and as her latest video has been gracing MTV screens, we feel it is only right to give a shoutout to this up and coming Turkish star.
